The Class Education Exhibition

Setting: This chapter happens when Ji Li is presenting about how cruel the landlords were to slaves.

Plot: Ji Li is doing a presentation on what landlords did before. Chairman Jin also comes to see Ji Li and congratulates her job. Thin Face comes to Ji Li and talks about Ji Li becoming an educable child. They now wanted Ji Li to be against her father and to be free from her black family. Ji Li can’t even imagine that. Ji Li goes to school and help the revolutionary committee. But she finds out that her place is replaced because of her political status. She feels shame. She tries to run away for that.

Characters: I learned that Ji Li actually doesn’t like her black family and his grandfather who was a landlord.

Analysis: This chapter is important to the story, because Ji Li might be against her father and that really shouldn’t happen.
